Rev. Bonnie Rose

Rev. Bonnie is the Senior Minister of the Ventura Center for Spiritual Living. She was born in New York, graduated from Duke University with a degree in Nursing, and then received a degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts in Vocal Performance.

Rev. Bonnie worked in New York for several years as a Nurse, Opera Singer, and Actress. In 1992-93, she performed in the National Tour of a Broadway Show and then decided to move to Southern California. She attended the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science, became a practitioner there, and then received a Master of Divinity from Holmes Institute.

Rev. Bonnie served as a staff minister at NHCRS for two years, prior to being led to Ventura Center for Spiritual Living. A gifted speaker and visionary, Rev. Bonnie offers dynamic leadership to transform lives and helps make the world a better place. Rev. Bonnie is dedicated to calling forth the best in all beings and working together to create a culture of kindness. Ventura Center for Spiritual Living is a journey church, where participants engage in an ongoing discovery of how to live fully and abundantly in the Infinite.

As though the Earth herself were singing...Nadine intricately weaves a liquid-velvet tapestry of lyrics, melodies, and mood, which communicate a knowing an insight belying her youth. From ancient-world inspired chants to uplifting contemporary pop, Nadine sets the stage for one to dive deeply into an internal journey of remembering. hear the sweet sound of the Divine as it flows through this beautiful singer, songwriter, and recording artist.

Nadine's had extensive musical theater experience in California, New York (the original cast of Children of Eden - Stephen Schwartz/RCS) and Washington D.C. (The Kennedy Center - Artistic Director: Placido Domingo). She's opened for the likes of Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakam and Vonda Shepard and is regularly seen-hear-and-felt performing at venues worldwide such as Egypt, Lebanon, India, Peru and China.

Along with continuous recording and performing projects in Los Angeles and abroad, Nadine is a key ingredient in Eye of Newt Circus. She writes and performs her original material in remarkable ways as these amazing circus artists contort, swing and fly through the air. She shot her first music video for the song "From Egypt to Omaha" with Eye of Newt Circus, directed by Raul Perez and shot by cinematographer Rolf Kesterman (Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game"). Ndine is also an integral member of S.T.A.R.S. (Singers Taking Action Reaching Souls). S.T.A.R.S.is a traveling vocal ensemble consisting of professional entertainers who come together with the sole purpose of uplifting the planet through song. For more information, go to www.starsfoundation.net.
