An event every week that begins at 6:30 am on Monday, repeating until August 22, 2022
“You are an eternal being now on the pathway of endless unfoldment, never less but always more yourself. Life is not static. It is forever dynamic, forever creating, not something done and finished, but something alive, awake, and aware. There is something within you that sings the song of eternity. Listen to it.” – Ernest Holmes
What brought me to VCSL was the sudden death of my 23 year old son in 2013. I am still living my life after Josh, and in the deeper connection that such a significant death can bring. This is a gentle six week course and circle connection for the sacred journey of grief. Guided by the work of CSL minister Rev. Ryan Pulley and their excellent curriculum. Each meeting brings connection, meditation, sharing, listening, and deepening. The workbook is not a prescriptive cure, but a guide for us on the journey and road of grief. Join in deep connection with each other in honoring and expressing all that arises for us in the dramatic change that death and loss bring.
From Rev. Ryan Pulley: “This is a program about navigating and exploring ourselves through the process of grief. The goal is to provide guidance and support along the journey, while not avoiding or trying to move through it as quickly as possible or on any prescribed timeline. This journey is unique to all who traverse it. It is less about theory or formulas, and more about self-exploration and expansion.”
All are welcome. It is preferred that those who attend can be present for the six weeks as much as possible. Workbook provided. Personal journal recommended.
