WHAT IS GOURMETS FOR GOD?
Gourmets for God is a fun-raiser that brings together our spiritual community to share a meal and create wonderful memories while raising funds to support VCSL.
HOW DOES GOURMETS FOR GOD WORK?
This is similar to a silent auction. Bidders will register, and bid with their name on Sundays from April 2nd to 30th.
INFO FOR GOURMETS FOR GOD HOSTS
Gourmets for God hosts sponsor and host events that can be simple or elaborate. Some host solo, while others join forces with other congregants. Examples of past Gourmets for God events include casual picnics at sunset, elegant meals with charades, DIY pizza night, Bunco & Brunch, a sound healing event, or a crafting event with lunch. No cooking skills required. Costco and catering are great, too! It doesn’t have to be fancy since it for the joy of being together and making new friends!
Hosts can also sponsor more than one event! Perhaps you can cook, and your friend has a special talent. Pair up with a co-host to offer a distinctive event! Complete a separate Host Registration form for each event. Submit your host registration form (below) by March 26th. If you have any questions, contact Rev. Jennifer jennifergh@venturacsl.org.
