W CLASS –Your Personal Peace Walk

In the midst of turmoil, we may long to change the world. We may long for peace. But what if the most enduring peace begins with what you are doing now? What if sustainable peace happens through how you live in every moment?
Earlier this year, a group of monks walked from Texas to Washington DC to inspire peace. “Walk for Peace is a simple yet meaningful reminder that unity and kindness begin within each of us. It can radiate outward to families, communities, and society as a whole….” (Bhikkhu Pannakara).
We can follow the example of the walking monks without walking thousands of miles. Using principles from Gandhi and other mystical teachers, using principles of peace and paradox, we will support each other as we cultivate our own personal, profound, metaphorical peace walks.
The peace to bless all beings starts with each of us. And so it is.
About the Instructor:
Rev. Bonnie Rose has been a minister for over two decades. She currently serves as the Sr. Minister of the Ventura Center for Spiritual Living, a center that balances mysticism, metaphysics, and practical tools. She is a long-time active member of ServiceSpace, a global organization dedicated to creating a culture of friendship, kindness, and generosity. Bonnie is the author of Dances with Dogs, a memoir that blends human comedy with divine grace.
